Field Description
name The full name of the shrine. Ideally, include the English/Romaji name, followed by a "<br />" tag, and then the name of the shrine in kanji.
image The name of an image file containing a photograph of the shrine. If the image is called "Image:2125420110 4b827c3a09 b.jpg", just type "2125420110 4b827c3a09 b.jpg". Do not include "Image:" or enclose the file name in double square brackets ("[[]]").
width The width of the image in pixels (px). For example, if you wish the image to be 150px wide, type "150". Do not add "px" after the number. If no number is stated, the width defaults to 250px.
caption The caption for the image.
type The type or category of the shrine; for example, "Inari shrine", "Imperial shrine". If possible, link relevant elements of the description to an appropriate article using double square brackets.
dedication The name(s) of the respective kami or people the shrine is dedicated, if any. Separate several names with commas (","), or put each name on a separate line by typing "<br />" between the names, thus:"Seung Sahn,<br />Seong Hyang".
founded The date when the shrine was founded. If a full date is available, it should be set out like this: "6 February 1885" or "February 6, 1885".
closed The date when the shrine was closed.
founder The name(s) of the founder(s) of the shrine, if any. Separate several names with commas (","), or put each name on a separate line by typing "<br />" between the names, thus:"Seung Sahn,<br />Seong Hyang".
priest The name of the current priest(s) (kannushi), if known. Separate several names with commas (","), or put each name on a separate line by typing "<br />" between the names, thus:"Seung Sahn,<br />Seong Hyang".
reisai The name of the shrine annual festival (reisai:例祭) or annual main festival (reitaisai:例大祭)
honden The name of the architectural style of the honden
address The address of the shrine, including the city and prefecture that it is located in. To put each line of the address on a separate line, type "<br />" between the lines.
website The website address of the shrine, but do not include any surrounding square brackets, thus: "http://www.kitanotenmangu.or.jp/eigo/index.html". The link is shown with the alternative text of "Homepage", i.e Homepage
Text added after the url address (with a space sparator) forms part of the displayed alternative text, hence "http://www.kitanotenmangu.or.jp/eigo/index.html Shrine" is shown as Shrine Homepage
