Infobox amateur wrestler may be used to summarize the main statistics info about an amateur wrestler.

Usage

This infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article.

Parameters

Parameter	Explanation
name	The person's name.
image	Name of image, if available. The image will be scaled to a width of 200px.
image_size	Image width (defaults to 200px if empty).
alt	Alternative text for image, see WP:ALT
caption	Caption for image
weight	Weight at which the wrestler most recently wrestled. Round the metric equivalent to the nearest centimeter. Ex. 23b lb. (106 kg.)
birth_date	Date of birth. If the person is living, use {{Birth date and age}}, {{Birth-date and age}}, or {{Birth year and age}}. If deceased, use {{Birth date}} or {{Birth-date}}. Example: {{Birth date and age|1963|8|26}} for a wrestler born on August 26, 1963 Example: {{Birth date and age|df=yes|1963|8|26}} to display birth date as 26 August 1963
birth_place	Place of birth.
death_date	Date of death. If the date of birth is known, use {{Death date and age}}, {{Death-date and age}}, or {{Death year and age}}. Otherwise, use {{Death date}} or {{Death-date}}. Example: {{Death date and age|1993|2|24|1941|4|12}} for a wrestler who died on February 24, 1993 and was born on born on April 12, 1941 Example: {{Death date and age|df=yes|1993|2|24|1941|4|12}} to display death date as 24 February 1993
death_place	Place of death: town, city, country.
high school	Name of high school attended by wrestler.
state champion	Number of state championships won.
college	Name of college attended by wrestler.
ncaa championships	Number of NCAA national championships won.
olympic team	Olympic team.
olympic medal	Olympic medal.
status	Current status of the wrestler. (ex. if the wrestler is deceased, then insert deceased. If the wrestler is living then insert the current their current title like "coach" or "retired".)
show-medals	If show-medals=no, the medal table is collapsed (by default it is expanded)
medaltemplates	All templates from the medal record infobox except {{MedalTableTop}} and {{MedalBottom}} (for more information, see Template:Medal templates documentation)

Microformat

The HTML markup produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the person's details parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue articles across Wikipedia or via a browser tool operated by a reader, to (for example) add the subject to an address book or database. For more information about the use of microformats on Wikipedia, please see the microformat project.

Sub-templates

Date-of-birth ("bday") information will only be included in the microformat if {{birth date}}, or {{birth date and age}} are used in the infobox. (Do not use these if the date is before 1583). Be cautious about using these if the person is still living, per WP:DOB.

To include a URL, use {{URL}}.

Please do not remove instances of these sub-templates.
